Look, look! This is the second post in just a few days...awesome, huh? And still, all of my former readers are gone.

I just watched VH1 for the first time in a LONG time. There was some show about the top 40 videos of 2005. And I have to say, I knew maybe five of the 20 I saw. Granted, for a quater of the year I was in Mexico and another two quarters of the year I've been too busy with work. But that's beside the point. On the countdown there were several videos, maybe four, by Mariah Carry. When did she stop being crazy? I guess she's popular again.

Watching the show reminded me of something I heard on the radio. Mariah is something like one or two #1 songs away from having more #1s than the Beatles and Elvis. Which begs the question, WHAT IS HAPPENING TO OUR WORLD WHEN CRAZY MARIAH HAS MORE HITS THAN THE BEATLES?!?! I mean really, I accept the fact that she's popular among most of society...but to be more popular than the Beatles? Really? She sings about Honey, Glitter, and Boyz 2 Men...I just can't see it. I think when/if she passes the Beatles, it will be a very sad day for music.
