I’m not trying to just show a ton of pictures on my blog or anything, but sometimes pictures say a thousand words, right? So back in late January, early February, I did something really nasty and swore never to do it again. Let me explain.

I take graduate courses a couple of nights a week. These classes start at 5:30 and are about ten minutes from my high school. So normally I just stay after school for two and a half hours rather than drive home in the opposite direction. So anyway, one day I didn’t exactly get full from my leftovers (I forget what it was, maybe soup, maybe some kind of pasta…not important). So around 5:00 I’m getting pretty hungry but realized that I wouldn’t be home until around 8:30 or so. So I decide to stop at a little gas station on the way. Trouble was brewing.

See, I wanted to just pick up a quick snack. Maybe a Hostess cupcake, or a small bag of chips or something. But the thing is, when you’re “starving”, you want everything. So I see the Fig Newtons sitting there; not the small back, the full two rows pack. So I buy it. I see in the freezer an ice cream Snickers bar, king size. So I buy it. I need something to drink and for some reason, chocolate milk sounds good. Done deal. And perhaps the most shameful of my purchases, I see a hotdog rolling on one of those convenient store hotdog machines…and I buy it.

Remember, my high school is ten minutes away from university. I eat it all, every bite, every ounce, all 32 Newtons, every inch in a little under ten minutes. That’s like, three cookies, one inch of hotdog, one bite of Snickers, three gulps of milk PER MINUTE for ten minutes. I wanted to vomit after I completed the task. The combination of foods is repulsive. I was disgusted with myself for the horrific feat. But I guess not enough to not take a picture of the wrappers in my car right after I ate it all and share it on this blog.

Hope you enjoyed. I know I did.

They aren't cookies, they're fruit and cake!

But still, I commend you on your gastronomic feat.
